Ok so I saw a banner ad on here for full sail, a school I had passed on back in 05 when I started college at another school. I went ahead and looked into it again and am now in the process of enrolling for classes in game design starting next month. Very excited about this, though I will be receiving the Adobe suite which will include Flash...I will not be using flash but rather Maya, Max, and Zbrush. I love this site but I've never been very good at flash games so the only thing I can post are renders of 3d models and concept paintings Ive done with the intention of modeling it.

anyway just felt like posting that.... and heres a picture of some toilets I modeled!.......0.o

Ok so I saw the Dad n Me artwork on the front page and checked out the artists page and was inspired to work on another low poly character model starting with the little one of the pair. spent about 15 minutes or so earlier hashing out a helmet, i think it's a good start and I hope to get the entire scene modeled and textured...

So I'm trying to teach myself UVunwrapping and I'm doing ok so far. This is the model I posted previously with a really quick "very badly done" UVmap/texture job.

ok so I'm done modeling the Dodgeball character, took me about two days, this was my first polygon character model since college (bout 3 yrs ago now) so this was sort of a learning experience. I'm unwrapping it and texturing it next....and then I might consider rigging it and doing some animations but I don't want to think about that right now...
