Polygon modeling! YAY! For years I've been working as a designer for the virtual marketing platform known as "Secondlife" some people know it as a game, I know it as a game engine/3D internet for me to develop content for.
The excited tone of this message is related to the fact that due to the restrictive nature of the 3D model importing to secondlife, I've been forced to learn by modeling in a very quirky very odd way by using NURBS shapes and pinching off vertices to create extra "pieces" of an object. Today I figured out how to convert to polygons and in turn figured out quite alot about just modeling from polygons...
