targeting

I really liked the game, I think the targeting reticle couldve been slightly more obvious as I at first thought it was something I needed to jump up and get as it looked like an object till I figured out you could shoot. so perhaps slightly more direction upon start of game sortof quick tutorial or something.

Controls

I wasn't sure why there was a left/right distinction in attack, felt like it should just attack in whatever direction you were facing. Other than that It seemed to be alright and the controls werent too overcomplicated.

slight bug

So while trying to drag parts around the game seems to have issues deciding what your trying to click and and i kept accidently grabbing parts I didn't mean to. Otherwise I love the whole concept. Good job!

better than doodle jump

Music was pretty nice, artwork was done fairly well and fit the genre. I enjoyed this alot more than doodle jump on the itunes appstore which appears to be fairly popular lately. I would only suggest maybe a quick graphic in the beginning of like a mouse with the button pressed with the words "fall faster" as I immediately plunged past everything when I started but otherwise good game!

Reused assets

I don't have any issues with the game cept it seemed to reuse sound assets from other games around newgrounds "unless the creators of this game are the creators of those other games" so the unoriginal sounds and music (castle crashers) is the only issue i have with it...otherwise good launching type game.

Great artwork, minor issues.

unresponsive until last command is executed. example: click to move to one end of screen, change mind and click elsewhere in mid walk, character ignores new request till arriving at last destination. During dialogue between two characters the word "Skip" appears over your cursor and I hesitated to click thinking skip meant I would miss what they were saying.

I like the use of 3d renders and I enjoyed the reference to hitchhikers guide to the galaxy "towel"

Nice game, difficult controls/overcomplicated

I liked the game but it felt geared towards hardcore fans of the genre. (Note: I didn't like left4Dead) As I'm not a hardcore fan of this genre I found it difficult to get used to the controls as it seemed a tad overcomplicated. Otherwise the art slides were very nice and the overall design seemed fairly well done. Sound effects didn't seem overused either. Overall I gave it a 7 as I feel it's execution needed a tad more finesse (Interface, controls, storyline, main character identity)

Zelda II FTW

Really can't say anything bad about the story, SFX, or control scheme cept maybe allowing mouse click to attack wouldve alleviated some discomfort in button mashing with the one finger on the A key. I loved that you used your daughters voice for the character, it worked really well. The thing I can say is that in the dungeon level on the first floor all the way to the left side there is a texture seem between tiles (outside of the wall) and the walls seem to use a repeatable wall tile that doesn't tile correctly on the left/right side though it still looks ok so you may have done it intentionally.

Zelda II was always my favorite as well. Good Job!

Fairly simple, easy to navigate

After a couple tries it was fairly simple to figure out. I've played similar games on newgrounds over the years that werent very obvious that I ended up giving up on so controls were done well here, good job!

I hadn't played the bank one so perhaps a quick flash back before you start in the cell would've helped others like myself to understand what was going on.

Was entertaining, really no way to tactically achieve much in the game but that was part of the chaos i guess.

I throw pixels and polygons together till they resemble something interesting...
